Graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Health Science – Traditional Chinese Medicine, double major in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. Ava spent time in Shang Hai, China completing her clinical internship at the Shuguan Hospital. Here she worked in the departments of Gynaecology, Oncology (cancer), Internal Medicine and Acupuncture. She is registered with the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association, (AACMA) as well as a member of Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Association (AHPRA).

Hi, I’m Ava, Co-founder Of Elk & Me Therapies And Dispensary.

Over the past 15 years I have dedicated my time into practising and studying the arts of healing. Initiating my time as a practitioner as a Massage Therapist 20 years ago and graduating into Dr of Chinese Medicine, it is my life’s greatest joy providing clients with a safe and warm environment to facilitate effective traditional and modern techniques of complementary medicine and healing.

During your session with me we will establish the underlying root cause of any disharmony that may be presenting through physical, emotional or spiritual disharmonies. This is done through traditional methods of discussion, palpation, diagnosis and treatment.
