Standard Consultation
(50 minutes)

$92.55 out of pocket with Medicare rebate

You do not need to have a referral to see a psychologist. However a referral from your General Practitioner may be preferable as you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate*.

A Medicare rebate means that Medicare will cover $87.45 per session for 20 sessions per year (For example $180 fee minus $87.45 equates to an out of pocket fee of $92.55).

WorkCover and private health insurance also accepted.

Sessions can be paid via cash, credit card, or EFTPOS, on the day of appointment.

Think Good Psychology endeavours to ensure that individuals have access to psychological care, and therefore can reduce the gap fee upon assessment of each individual.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration; and currently available face to face on Mondays and Wednesdays, and via Telehealth (video or audio call) on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
